Bed Material Survey for the Beigang River System (Gan Creek and Dapu Creek)
Project Scope
The Hydro & Geo-Tech Experimentation section assisted the River and Coastal section with bed material surveys for the "Review of Governance Planning for Gan Creek Tributary" and "Review of Governance Planning for Dapu Creek Tributary" within the Beigang River Basin. Field sampling was completed on March 25, 2026, followed by laboratory sieve analysis in late April.
Sampling was conducted across two river sections:
- Gan Creek Tributary: 8 sampling sites (GT-1～GT-8).
- Dapu Creek Tributary: 4 sampling sites (TT-1～TT-4).
